[Sports Today Reporter Lee sang pil] Celebrating Hangul Proclamation Day on October 9th, the Korea Sports Council (Chairman Lee ki heung) exhibited Hangeul pop art works in collaboration with Hangeul pop art artist of 'Miss Giyeok and Mr. Nieun' at the National Training Center.
Design works using the characters of 'Miss Giyeok and Mr. Nieun' and 'Hangul patterns' will be exhibited in the athlete's dormitory lounge, tea house, and streetlights within the National Training Center.
The walls of the athletes' lounge and tea house were decorated with paintings depicting the three themes of "Heaven, Earth, and Human." In addition, cheering banners with Korean patterns were hung on streetlights within the National Training Center.
Artist Lee dae in delivered a work of art with the theme of "Transform as you dream" to athletes preparing for the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics to convey the energy of victory. He also said, "Through this work, I hope that the national team athletes will realize their dreams and that everyone will become the main character."
In response, the head of the National Training Center Jang jae geun said, "I hope that the national athletes will receive good energy through the work and prepare vigorously for the upcoming Paris Olympics."
